Raffles Udaipur took 10 years to build. And, the result is the extravagance that even the likes of Taj and Oberoi will envy. Spread over 21 acres of private island in the midst of Udai Sagar lake, the 5+ star property is India’s first Raffles hotel. constructed by Architect Clive Gray of Bangkok-based firm, Randolph Gray Design, Raffles Udaipur combines British countryside appeal and Rajasthan royal heritage with elements of Islamic architecture.

Reminding us of hard to find the regal luxury experience, the 101 rooms and suites are equipped with modern comforts, state-of-the-art bathrooms, private plunge pools, gardens and balconies. Only Oasis Suite Rooms have plunge pool that comes with Cabana.

Famous for its Writers Bar, Raffles Udaipur has uniquely designed and kept the ages-old rejuvenating concept here as well where international writers and authors like Rudyard Kipling, Ernest Hemingway and Somerset Maugham have celebrated over cocktails. With floor-to-ceiling glass windows, a library of more than five thousand books, Writers Bar serves an extensive variety of exotic wines.

How much does it cost to stay in Raffles?

Raffles rooms starts at Rs 40000 per night which includes Bed and Breakfast. The suite Rooms cost up to Rs 90000.
