1. Situated in the Mhow village, the beautiful Janapav Mountain is 45 KMs from Indore. Surrounded with verdant forests and exotic wildlife, the mountain range is sacred to the Hindu community. At an altitude of 845 m, Janapav Kuti is the mountain peak where Parshuram, the sixth Avtar of Lord Vishnu got born to Jamadagni and Renuka. It was foretold that Parshuram would appear whenever overwhelming evil prevailed on earth.


2. Janapav is part of the forest reserve with dense jungles of life-saving herbs surrounding the Janapav peak. Spread across thousands of sq. km, Janapav Hill is said to be the origin of twelve ancient rivers including Chambal, Saraswati & Nakheri. The range also hosts Tigers, Bears, Leopards, Horbills, Jackals, and Foxes among other prominent wild animals. The mountain range also has many beautiful and majestic waterfalls.
